A construction worker was injured by falling lattice boom section on Saturday.
Workers were loading the boom section onto a trailer when it is said to have rolled off and injured the man. He was conscious, alert and talking when emergency services arrived, they took him to hospital and he was later released.
The boom was being loaded by employees of North Shore Marine, following the completion of a new building.
Kevin Pelletier, owner of North Shore Marine, said: “All my guys are OSHA trained and certified. We put a lot of emphasis on safety, everyone working with us is family and friends.”
