A 52,000-pound crane tipped Wednesday afternoon in Marathon as it was trying to lift a derelict boat out of the water at the end of 15th Street oceanside.
The crane was operated by AC/DC Electric Inc. A staffer there says the ground at the seawall gave way when the crane went over a cesspit.
Luckily, no one was hurt.
The crane tipped at 1 p.m. By late afternoon, workers were still trying to figure out how to right it.
