Nobody suffered any injuries during an industrial accident which saw a 45-tonne crane at the Canadian Tire construction site on Woodlawn Road.
An Ontario Ministry of Labour investigator was on the scene of the accident which occurred at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Ministry spokesman Bruce Skeaff said the 45-tonne crane was being used by Carwell Construction to hoist a precast concrete wall slab from the bed of a truck.
No damage was done to the building being constructed. The crane, however, sustain considerable damage, he added.
