Portage, Indiana The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating an accident that killed a worker at a metal treatment plant in Portage. Portage police identify the victim as 25-year-old Jacob Amundsen of Merrillville. The accident occurred about 7 a.m. Wednesday at Precoat Metals.
