Houston, Texas

Twenty-six-year-old James Stinson was working on a sign at a The Excel Motor Cars dealership along the Southwest Freeway near the Beltway.

Firefighters say he was using a cherry picker to get to the top when it got too close.

“He made contact with the power lines, and the worker in the basket received an electrical shock,” said Captain Gary Stevenson with the Houston Fire Department.
