A workman has been been injured after a crane toppled over in west Belfast.
The accident happened on a building site on the Stewartstown Road as the crane was being used to unload materials at about 0900 GMT on Tuesday.
The man was trapped underneath the crane when it fell into apartments being built on the site.
An ambulance crew managed to free him and it is understood he has no major injuries.
He was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast, where his condition is described as “stable”.
Sinn Fein Councillor Paul Butler was driving past the building site when the accident happened.
“It came crashing down, very close to the road and I slammed on the brakes because I thought the whole thing was coming down onto the roadway.
“It was very frightening,” he said.
