This photo of the crane that was used to right the toppled crane was included here to show how the cribbing is stacked under the outrigger pad. That IS NOT the proper material or placement to use in helping to stabilize the crane.

The operator said, “The ground gave out.” But, I ( report sender) could not see any evidence of that. The machine had about 50 hours on it.
