A Mantis 10010, 50 ton crane had approximately 2 tons on the hook when all of the bolts that hold the brake together sheared off and dropped the load. Fortunately no one was hurt. This just goes to show what can happen at any moment. The winch is being sent back to Braden for a teardown to see what the cause was.
